About Us

Established in 1949, the family run firm of Gardiners continues to produce a wide range of quality confectionery. Tom Gardiner, his wife Maureen, their son Tom and daughter Hazel are personally involved in the everyday running of the business, ensuring that high standards are maintained in every aspect of our business.
Our origins are in producing nougat wafers to supply our own dairy ice cream business, selling ice cream and confectionery at major events such as the Royal Highland Show, and the British Open Golf Championships.
Macaroon, and then tablet, was added with demand for these new confectionery lines quickly outstripping the original wafers. Full time production began in 1986 - a natural step which allowed these quality confections to be produced in large quantities.
Today, we are an established and respected firm of confectionery manufacturers offering an extensive range of traditonal confections produced using only the finest ingredients.
Our products range from Malt Whisky Selections to the Scottish speciality 'Edinburgh Rock'.
Our strength comes from our own production capability, allowing new recipes to be added to our range, providing exclusive product lines for our many customers.
